Mamardashvili kicks off EURO 2024

Georgia take on Turkey at 6:00pm (CET) in Group F opener 

Valencia CF goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili makes his Euro 2024 debut this Tuesday evening, 18 June, against Turkey in the first Group F match. The match will be played at the BVB Stadion Dortmund and will be broadcast on RTVE.

Georgia thus begins its journey in this European Championship in which it is drawn in Group F alongside Portugal, Czech Republic and Turkey.

Throughout this season, Mamardashvili has become the best goalkeeper in LALIGA EA Sports 23-24, being the goalkeeper who has prevented the most expected goals (11.3). He is also the goalkeeper with the most consecutive starts in LALIGA (69) and has broken his own record for most clean sheets (13). He was also nominated for best Under-23 player of the month in March in LALIGA EA Sports 23-24.
